5th Grade Activities & Gift

It’s hard to believe will be moving on to middle school . . . Before they go, we have some unforgettable events planned!

Throughout the year there are several fundraisers to benefit 5th grade culmination activities including Pali Camp, Field Day, Culmination Ceremony, and a Graduation Party.

We ask for a suggested donation $40 per 5th grader to supplement the funding of these activities, DUE MAY 24TH.Make your donation online now HERE! The earlier you make the donation in the year, the better we have an understanding of our overall 5th Grade culmination budgets.

What to expect:

June 10th, 2019 – Culmination Ceremony

10am on the Big Yard. School begins at normal time and students usually dress up for the occasion. Seating will open at 9:30am and is first come first serve. A slideshow will be presented in the auditorium immediately following – to submit photos Email Wendy Meyer at takenoteon@yahoo.com and please include the year of the photo.  Thanks!

June 11th, 2019 – 5th Grade Field Day (Students Only Event).

Students will be provided a BBQ picnic lunch at noon followed by an afternoon full of fun activities and games for the rest of the school day. If they do not want the hamburger/hot dog lunch they may bring their own. Have your students dressed in athletic clothes/shoes, sunscreen, and they will be provided with a commemorative class t-shirt and color war items that will split them into teams. They will rotate in stations to participate in different activities and a Kona Ice shaved ice truck! Ninja Nation will be hosting 3 of the stations and your student will need to submit a waiver in order to participate. June 12th – Grad Party

(Students Only Event) On the last day of school from 10am-12pm the 5th graders will have a fun dance party in the auditorium. A buffet style lunch will be provided, there will be a DJ, and a fun red carpet style party with a photo booth. No specific dress requirements but the theme is ‘Hollywood’.   Though the Sign Up Genius is full, we still have ways for parents to get involved.  If you would like to volunteer with food preparation and/or be our “paparazzi”, please contact Kathykane@aol.com.

Notes: All adults must sign in through the office to attend the ceremony or volunteer at any of these events. If your child leaves after any of these events early they must be signed out through the office.
