Home / For Parents / School Smarts

School Smarts is the California State PTA’s research-based, award-winning program (White House recognized!) that promotes inclusion and meaningful parent engagement.  It helps parents from all backgrounds gain knowledge and skills to be more effective advocates and leaders on behalf of their children and all children at Roosevelt.

The Roosevelt PTA encourages all parents and guardians to take part in this FREE program!

Roosevelt is offering this program to all families. A facilitator will lead sessions in which parents will have the opportunity to meet and hear from education professionals and representatives within our community and SMMUSD. We ask that you do your best to attend all sessions. Roosevelt Elementary School invites all parents to attend as many sessions as possible. You are officially registered in this Parent Academy once you attend Session 1 or 2 and fill out the Pre-Academy enrollment questionnaire.

This year the program will be offered: Tuesday’s from 8:35 am-10:00 am.
